RRCS Prevention Services is dedicated to addressing community issues that impact citizens of all ages by implementing or supporting community prevention programs that reduce risk factors and promote protective factors associated with these issues.

Encompass Community Supports Services believes that community issues need community solutions.  As a result, ECS Prevention works closely with local community coalitions such as Healthy Culpeper to collaborate, partner, and share resources to deliver effective community prevention programs and Healthy Culpeper and its Community Partners and Committees.

Team Jordan

Team Jordan sponsors a Team Jordan Raffle Fundraiser once a year. Funds raised from this event is used to support prevention programs of ECS and Healthy Culpeper and its Community Partners that reduce the risk of suicide in the Culpeper community. Team Jordan also gives scholarships to graduating high school seniors  at Culpeper County High School, Eastern View High School, Madison County High School, and Rappahannock County High School. Team Jordan also sponsors a Survivors for Life Support Group for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. This group meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at Pepper’s Grill at 6PM. Those who have lost a loved one to suicide and need support are encouraged to attend.

Rusty Bowers Suicide Prevention Coalition

Each year the Rusty Bowers Suicide Prevention Coalition gives scholarships to high school seniors in Culpeper County High School, Eastern View High School, Madison County High School, and Rappahannock County High School
