Culpeper Fiesta
We are sorry to say that the Culpeper Fiesta has been cancelled for September 2022. We hope to be back in 2023.
The Culpeper Fiesta takes place in the heart of downtown Culpeper for 4 hours, 6pm to 10pm each year in September. Admission is free. Plan to bring your whole family down to the Depot (109 Commerce St., Culpeper, VA) for a night of good food and wonderful entertainment. Like us on Facebook to stay in touch.
This year, activities included children’s crafts, piñatas, Zumba led by Marie’s Ballet, and live music by the local band Veneno De Tierra Caliente. There was also a presentation by the Sycamore Park 5th and 6th graders. Mark Harman with Harmany DJ’s played a variety of Latino dance music
The food very reasonably priced so you can afford to feed the whole family. Food vendors provide a full selection of traditional Hispanic dishes. There is also dessert items and beverages.
Free health screenings were offered, including confidential HIV testing by FAHAAS, as well as glucose and blood pressure checks by UVA Culpeper Hospital. Free flu shots were administered by Walgreens. Complimentary children’s ID’s was offered by the Culpeper Sheriff’s office and the Culpeper Town Police at the Food Closet location at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.
